Vintage Japanese Ikebana Hangakago Basket. The entire handle is wrapped in fine filament as is
also the bottom edge. There are also small
knots at each crossing and joint with the band
around the middle. Noticed one broken cross stick. (See pic) Dates between 1910-1930.
Measurements: 6" long at the base x 9.5” tall to the handle and 2.5” wide. Stored very well in smoke free home. Please see photos for details and condition.
